Craig and I had to get some school shopping done for Shaun, though, so we headed off to the mall on Saturday morning. I was tempted to walk into a salon in the mall and beg to have someone help me but I soon realized that there's so little length to play with and I run the risk of STILL not being happy with the new 'fixed cut'. So I hung my head as we walked around, trying not to make eye contact with anyone, fearing they'd know me and comment on my hair.
When we got home, I washed my hair and decided I had to make the best of a BAD, BAD situation.
After an hour playing around with different styles, some gel, hairspray, and wax...Voila. It's still not the look I was going for originally but at least I don't feel the need to walk around with a paper bag on my head until it grows in.

It won't take long to start growing back I found that when my hair was short it grew super fast.
It is a drastic change for you and will take some time to get used to it but it really does look good.
I said to Steve when we got home last night, "Michelle's hair looks really good doesn't it?" He replied very honestly with a "Yeah it does!" After the disasters I had in highschool with the same spontaneous decision, I was nervous for you but I can't get over how good the style looks on you! It's almost glamorous.
Honestly and truly Michelle, I think it looks great! It is for sure a big change and will take time for you to get used to, but it really does look good. Were the boys freaked out by it?
It's a HUGE change for you, but it really does look GOOD! Don't feel like you have to hang your head, show off just how sassy it looks!!
If you're still worrying, I agree with Elisabeth - since I cut my hair shorter (like a foot shorter) in May, it's probably grown 5 inches. It doesn't stop!
Wow! You look stunning! This would have been a great cut to start the hot summer out with.
